Tick-Tock

In just a couple hours Rachel and I will be leaving to go to the hospital. Our original appointment was for tomorrow, but it was moved up. Pretty crazy. I think it’s finally starting to sink in a bit. We are both very excited and cannot wait to bring the little guy home! Nevertheless, it can be a bit nerve racking as surreal moments like these begins to creep up on you, and what seemed as though it would never actually happen is actually happening.
I know we have a lot of people praying for us, and I’m convinced all will go well! I’m taking a video camera – a borrowed one thanks to some punk who stole ours, but that’s another post for another time! – so I’ll do my best to try and have some footage posted as soon as I can!
Much love.
Wow… wow. People have been having babies for thousands of years, but this still blows my mind! I don’t think we were expecting to actually see a baby when we went for Rachel’s sonogram this past Friday. I was more expected to see something resembling a walnut, not an actual baby shaped person! Ironically they said that right now he/she’s the size of a peanut, hence-forth the pre-gender name will be “Peanut”.
So this is pretty cool! A few weeks ago Rachel went and tried out in front of a panel of judges to sing the National Anthem for the Phoenix Suns’ home games. Several weeks past, and we hadn’t heard anything, so we figured she just didn’t make the cut.
