Wow… wow. People have been having babies for thousands of years, but this still blows my mind! I don’t think we were expecting to actually see a baby when we went for Rachel’s sonogram this past Friday. I was more expected to see something resembling a walnut, not an actual baby shaped person! Ironically they said that right now he/she’s the size of a peanut, hence-forth the pre-gender name will be “Peanut”.

Rachel’s parents drove out here from Texas to spend the weekend, and it just so happened they were here when we had to do the sonogram – pretty cool. I know they enjoyed being able to get a first look at their new – and first! – grandchild.

Crazy.

Rachel is doing well as far as pregnant women go during this faze. The ETA is May 23^rd for the little guy/gal, and we will probably know the sex at our next Dr.’s visit in about four weeks! Pretty exciting stuff!

I called it! From the get go I said it was going to be a boy and it is! Now, I’d have been just as excited and still completely in love with my child even if it turned out to be a girl, but I’m mainly just excited ’cause I was right! I called it!
