Sweet Action Jackson!

// May 27th, 2007 // 3 Comments » // Jack, Relativity

Well, it’s super late, but I felt the need to make sure these were available online for all of you! It’s just a public gallery on Google’s Picasa web thingy, but you shouldn’t have any trouble accessing it. Let me know if you do.
Thanks agian you for your prayers and love throughout all of this! Jackson sends his love, as do Rachel and myself!

I’ll post the video soon, but for now I need to go to bed!

Much Love,

– Tim

Tick-Tock

// May 24th, 2007 // No Comments » // Jack, Relativity

In just a couple hours Rachel and I will be leaving to go to the hospital. Our original appointment was for tomorrow, but it was moved up. Pretty crazy. I think it’s finally starting to sink in a bit. We are both very excited and cannot wait to bring the little guy home! Nevertheless, it can be a bit nerve racking as surreal moments like these begins to creep up on you, and what seemed as though it would never actually happen is actually happening.

I know we have a lot of people praying for us, and I’m convinced all will go well!  I’m taking a video camera – a borrowed one thanks to some punk who stole ours, but that’s another post for another time! – so I’ll do my best to try and have some footage posted as soon as I can!

Much love.

And The Crowd Went Wild!

// March 14th, 2007 // 6 Comments » // Relativity

Rachel sang the National Anthem at the start of the Sun’s game last Wednesday, and she did it beautifully! I was allowed to go down onto the court with her, so I got it on tape! This is probably the worst job of filming I’ve ever done, but at least you get the idea.

It’s A Boy!!!

// December 22nd, 2006 // 1 Comment » // Relativity

I called it! From the get go I said it was going to be a boy and it is! Now, I’d have been just as excited and still completely in love with my child even if it turned out to be a girl, but I’m mainly just excited ’cause I was right! I called it!

If you want to see some updated sonogram pictures you can checkout Rachel’s MySpace Page, and go to her pictures. She posted some up there.

“Peanut” Allen

// October 30th, 2006 // No Comments » // Relativity

Wow… wow. People have been having babies for thousands of years, but this still blows my mind! I don’t think we were expecting to actually see a baby when we went for Rachel’s sonogram this past Friday. I was more expected to see something resembling a walnut, not an actual baby shaped person! Ironically they said that right now he/she’s the size of a peanut, hence-forth the pre-gender name will be “Peanut”.

Rachel’s parents drove out here from Texas to spend the weekend, and it just so happened they were here when we had to do the sonogram – pretty cool. I know they enjoyed being able to get a first look at their new – and first! – grandchild.

Crazy.

Rachel is doing well as far as pregnant women go during this faze. The ETA is May 23rd for the little guy/gal, and we will probably know the sex at our next Dr.’s visit in about four weeks! Pretty exciting stuff!

We’ll keep you posted!

Rachel Allen to Sing the National Anthem

// October 13th, 2006 // 3 Comments » // Relativity

So this is pretty cool! A few weeks ago Rachel went and tried out in front of a panel of judges to sing the National Anthem for the Phoenix Suns’ home games. Several weeks past, and we hadn’t heard anything, so we figured she just didn’t make the cut.

But a couple days ago Rachel got a call from the Phoenix Suns asking her to sing the National Anthem in mid March – when she’ll be a lovely 6 months pregnant! Won’t that be a story to tell the little one.

“See, Jr.? This is you at your first Suns game!”

I just hope this doesn’t some how pre-infect our child with some sort of “sports-fever.”

Anyway, Rachel is pretty excited about it – as she should be – and I think it’s pretty cool. Maybe I’ll stand up and yell, “That’s my wife!!!” when it’s all over with. It’ll be my own little claim to fame.
