Truthfully, I don't know the answer to the exactly. I do, however, that many people have been able to use a hardware controller to interface with Color. It would stand to reason that you would be able to do the same with the ShuttlePRO V.2. Although I can't answer your question definitively, my inclination is to say it would work fine! I have since stopped using this device and it continues to interfere with Spaces on Leopard. I constantly found myself being flown across the screen because I tried to scrub through a clip, and the OS I suppose wasn't exactly sure what input it received. I might try and play with it some more to get it to work, but as of now it remains too much of a nuisance. Just thought I’d post an update on this.
